Due to the relocation of our present incumbent, St Andrew’s School for Girls seeks to employ a Senior School Core Mathematics and Further Studies Mathematics teacher to teach in the GET and FET phase of the School.

The successful candidate will:

• Be required to teach Core Mathematics and Further Studies Mathematics in the FET phase.
• Have minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching Grade 12 core Mathematics.
• Be at an advantage in having experience in teaching Further Studies Mathematics.
• Be at an advantage in having IEB Matric marking experience.
• Have suitable academic qualifications and be registered with SACE.
• Have the ability to use various digital technology in the classroom.
• Be at an advantage in having experience in the independent school sector and knowledge of the IEB assessment criteria, however, it is not a prerequisite.
• Be able to inspire students using innovative and creative teaching methodologies.
• Be a team player – willing to be part of a successful and driven department and community.
• Be a dynamic and committed educator who can set, manage and work to deadlines.
• Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment.
• Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the School.
• Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register
