Purpose of Role
To deliver high-quality teaching and foster a positive learning environment that supports student achievement. The role involves planning engaging lessons, implementing the SPARK curriculum, analysing progress data, and collaborating with colleagues to support all scholars in person and online.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Delivery
- Plan and deliver lessons in English, Social Science, and Personal and Social Well-being according to grade level and timetable.
- Provide engaging instruction with well-prepared resources and activities.
- Collaboration & Individual Support
- Work with grade level and content partners to create rigorous learning experiences.
- Develop individualised behaviour and learning plans for all students, in both face-to-face and online settings.
- Lead weekly SEL circles and implement SPARK’s Social Emotional Learning curriculum.
- Assessment & Data
- Administer and mark formative and summative assessments weekly and termly.
- Analyse data to track progress and drive student growth; submit results when required.
- Professional Practice & Community
- Attend pre-service and ongoing professional development sessions.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents and stakeholders; model professional behaviour at SPARK events.
- Participate in Saturday events and parent community meetings; support crisis management as required.
- Adhere to child protection, anti-bullying, and health and safety policies.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- B.Ed. or PGCE (Intermediate/Senior Phase). Recently qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Recent graduates and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

- Fluent in English.
