As our sporting programme continues to grow from strength to strength, we are seeking an exceptional and visionary Head of Netball to join us.

Netball at Redhill enjoys a proud tradition and is an integral part of the life of the school. Over recent years, the programme has continued to develop in both participation and performance, with our students competing at a high level and representing the school with pride and distinction.

This is not simply a coaching position. While an understanding and appreciation of the game is essential, we are first and foremost looking for an outstanding sports administrator and programme leader – someone who can provide strategic direction, inspire excellence, and build one of the premier school netball programmes in South Africa.

We are seeking an individual who can take Redhill Netball to the next level by developing a clear long-term vision and creating a high-performance environment that supports students of all abilities.

The successful candidate will understand that exceptional sporting programmes are built upon outstanding planning, excellent people, and a commitment to providing students with the very best opportunities to grow and succeed.

The successful candidate will:

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for Netball across the school.
• Design and oversee a comprehensive and progressive netball programme from participation through to high performance.
• Recruit, develop, support, and manage an exceptional team of coaches.
• Ensure the highest standards of organisation, communication, and administration across all aspects of the programme.
• Lead and oversee a dynamic and aspirational Netball Academy that develops talent while remaining inclusive and accessible.
• Build strong pathways for player development and create meaningful opportunities for students to realise their potential.
• Work collaboratively with school leaders, staff, parents, and external partners to further strengthen the profile and success of Redhill Netball.
• Promote a culture of excellence, commitment, sportsmanship, and enjoyment.

Redhill’s outstanding sporting facilities provide an exceptional platform upon which to build an elite programme. Our campus boasts dedicated netball courts alongside world-class sporting infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art High-Performance Centre, comprising a fully equipped gym, conditioning facilities, specialist coaching support, and wellness programmes designed to optimise student performance and physical development. These facilities support all sporting codes and provide exciting opportunities for the continued growth of Netball at Redhill.

Holding a PGCE and SACE registration would be an advantage, as the successful candidate would ideally be able to teach Physical Education both academically and practically as part of our innovative International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). However, this is not essential.
