Innovation Fellowship is wanted at Redhill School to start on January 2027 and closing date is 25 October 2026

INNOVATION FELLOWSHIP
Build. Experiment. Research. Mentor. Create.
Redhill School | Commencing January 2027
Redhill School is looking for curious thinkers, makers, researchers, technologists and entrepreneurs who want to build things, code things, investigate things, design things and start things.
As we launch the Redhill Innovation Hub, we are creating a multidisciplinary community where technology, research, entrepreneurship, creativity and real-world problem-solving come together. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join us as our inaugural Innovation Fellows and help shape what the Innovation Hub becomes.
You might be working in AI, robotics, engineering, computer science, biotechnology, digital fabrication, game development, data science, entrepreneurship, industrial design or another emerging field. Your degree title matters less to us than your curiosity, expertise and desire to create.
Build Your Own Ideas
Fellows will have access to a state-of-the-art makerspace, including dedicated 3D-printing and laser-cutting facilities, CNC machinery and digital fabrication tools. You will be encouraged to use these resources not only to support student projects, but also to experiment, prototype and develop projects, research and ideas of your own.
What will you do?
As an Innovation Fellow, you will:
- mentor and collaborate with Redhill students as they turn ambitious ideas into prototypes, products, research and ventures
- contribute your own expertise to projects in technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, research and innovation
- develop and lead workshops or programmes within your specialist field
- collaborate with other Fellows, educators, researchers and industry experts
- help shape the programmes, partnerships and experiences that will define the Innovation Hub
Why become an Innovation Fellow?
This is a rare opportunity to join a new Innovation Hub at its founding stage – not simply to work within an existing programme, but to help create one. As a Fellow, you will have the freedom to experiment, build and collaborate across disciplines. You will have:
- access to specialist equipment and workspace
- opportunities to develop your own projects and research
- connections to Redhill’s extensive parent and industry network
- opportunities to lead programmes in your specialist field
- support for research, publication and conference presentations.
You will leave the Fellowship with a portfolio of real projects, an expanded professional network, experience working across education, entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary innovation, and the opportunity to contribute to something genuinely new.
We want the Innovation Hub to be a place where Fellows develop just as much as the students they mentor.
The Fellowship
This is a paid, 12-month Fellowship. We welcome applications from postgraduate students, recent graduates, researchers and professionals. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for Fellows who are completing postgraduate studies or have university commitments.
