Purpose of Role
This role exists to support the Montessori environment for children aged 3–6. You will help set up and observe within the learning space, gently guide children to learn and thrive, and contribute to our kind, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Montessori Environment & Learning
- Help create and maintain a beautiful Montessori environment that supports independent learning
- Observe children in the space and gently guide their learning
Community & Culture
- Support our school’s friendly, inclusive culture where relationships matter
- Help make parents feel at home and informed about their child’s progress
Classroom Practice
- Contribute to daily routines and classroom management
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement activities
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Montessori Higher Certificate, Diploma or a relevant education degree (or are busy with one or both)
Experience
- Hands-on experience working with children
Competencies
- Problem-solving and a team-player attitude
