CREATIVE ARTS & SOCIAL SCIENCE TEACHER – (GRADE 8-9)

  • Contract: Fixed Term (1 Year)
  • Start Date: January 2025
  • Closing Date: 11 November2025

JPI invites applications for a dynamic Senior Phase Teacher to teach Creative Arts & Social Science to Grades 7–9. Suitable for experienced educators or 2025 graduates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Creative Arts and Social Science following CAPS curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging lessons fostering creativity, critical thinking, and holistic growth.
  • Develop lesson plans, assessments, and track learner progress.
  • Adapt lessons for diverse learner needs.
  • Participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
  • Maintain communication with parents and guardians.
  • Promote an inclusive and collaborative classroom culture.

Requirements

  • Relevant Teaching Degree in Creative Arts, Social Science, or Education.
  • SACE registration and Police Clearance required.
  • Classroom experience in Creative Arts & Social Science Senior Phase.
  • Competent in classroom management, planning, and ICT integration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
