Knights Preparatory School is looking for Grade 1 Foundation Phase Teacher – closing date is 31 of December 2024

We invite applications for the following post:

GRADE 1 FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER

(JANUARY 2025)

The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-qualified teacher who holds an appropriate professional teaching qualification and is registered with SACE.

A detailed CV, along with a covering letter and the contact details of three referees, should be emailed to the school.

In addition, the applicant must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 year’s experience
  • Be a committed Christian who is passionate about education, self-motivated, organised, energetic and confident
  • Be experienced in the NumberSense Numeracy programme
  • Be experienced in the Time2Read Literacy programme
  • Have a sound knowledge of current trends and best practice in education
  • Develop and sustain new teaching ideas
  • Deliver impactful and engaging inquiry-based lessons supported by technology
  • Familiar with Thinking Skills and strategies
  • Be passionate about inclusive education, and have the ability to work with children who have individual needs
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be prepared to work outside of school hours, where necessary
  • Be prepared to participate fully in the co-curricular programme of the school
