Tersia King Learning Academy invites applications for the position of Head of Department: Life Orientation. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced educator with strong leadership and curriculum management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- SACE registration with relevant professional and educational qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ subject-related teaching experience
- Proven school management experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Computer literacy and emotional intelligence
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery across GET and FET phases
- Lead teacher development, performance reviews, and academic quality assurance
- Ensure administrative efficiency and support to the principal
- Promote a disciplined, high-performance learning culture
