Purpose of Role
This role exists to provide high-quality Intermediate Phase teaching, delivering strong literacy and numeracy instruction while upholding the school’s Christian values and commitment to community upliftment. You will work with learners in the local area to grow academically and morally.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum
- Deliver engaging lessons for the Intermediate Phase with focus on English and Afrikaans.
- Plan, assess and report on pupil progress aligned to the curriculum.
Classroom Management & Student Support
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom that supports learners of diverse backgrounds.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance in line with school values.
Collaboration & Administration
- Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to team planning, and engage with parents as needed.
- Ensure accurate records of attendance, assessments and student progress.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Teaching qualification.
Experience
- Current registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE) is essential.
