Intermediate/Senior Phase Teacher

We are looking for an English teacher who

• Is fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English, and can teach in Senior phase at grade 7/8/9 level.
• Understands and can effectively use formative assessment and will keep up to date with marking and corrective feedback.
• Will set high but attainable standards, goals, and expectations for themselves and for the children.
• Is able and willing to be trained in evidence-based instruction and to implement such training in their classroom teaching practice.
• Will uphold the rules, discipline, core values and Christian ethos of the school.
• Will have a genuine love of children, have a real interest in their future and a working knowledge and understanding of child maturation and development.
