The following full-time internship position has become available from 1 January 2026
JUNIOR PRIMARY INTERN
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who have a passion for working with young children and who wish to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The requirements for the position:
- Currently studying towards a B. Ed (Foundation Phase) or similar qualification (or already be qualified)
- A passion for education and a genuine love of working with children
- A willingness to learn and to be mentored by experienced teachers
- The ability to assist with classroom preparation, supervision and general school duties
- A caring, patient and responsible disposition
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to play an active role in the school’s extracurricular and aftercare programmes
- A willingness to work within the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Proof of sexual offender’s clearance certificate
