Pridwin Preparatory School is a leading boys’ prep school situated in Melrose in Johannesburg. It prepares boys for entry into the top high schools in the country. Many of our boys also gain entry into prominent high schools in other parts of the world.

The successful candidate should be an individual with energy, integrity and vision; who can competently meet the learning needs of the boys in a creative and innovative manner.

EDUCATION:

• A suitable professional qualification and a SACE Registration Certificate

ABILITIES:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of administering a school library.
• Thorough knowledge of children’s literature.
• Able to support teaching and learning in a collaborative learning environment.
• Excellent organisational and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to people on all levels with Emotional Intelligence.
• Passionate about the subject area.
• Ability to use and integrate technology in the classroom.
• Ability to work in a multi-media environment essential.
• A passion to promote reading essential.
