Core Education is seeking a qualified and passionate Grade 8-9 Robotics and IT Grade 10-12 Educator to join our team at ACUDEO College, Protea Glen for a permanent position. The successful candidate will teach Robotics Grade 8-9 and IT Grade 10-12, and should be committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Position Details
- Role: Robotics Grade 8-9 and Information Technology Grade 10-12 Educator
- Location: ACUDEO College, Protea Glen
- Start date: 12 January 2026
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification
- SACE registration (permanent certificate required)
- Experience in teaching CAPS curriculum
- Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
- A positive, professional, and collaborative attitude
- Strong understanding of computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Understanding of networking, cybersecurity basics, and internet technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with computers and software.
- Knowledge of the IT and CAT syllabus and assessment standards.
- Maintaining student discipline while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Keeping accurate records of learners’ progress and assessment results.
- Ability to manage IT resources, including software licenses, lab equipment, and maintenance schedules.
- Participation in IT competitions, clubs, or extra-curricular technology initiatives.
