Purpose of Role
The Collections Administration Agent provides accurate, high-volume administrative support to the collections function. The role focuses on capturing, updating and maintaining debtor and payment information to ensure records are complete and aligned with internal processes. It supports debt recovery by providing reliable data and documentation, following procedures and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Enrolment Accounts Administration
- Receive, manage and process tickets from the ticketing system with timely resolution or escalation
- Monitor the divisions mailbox and resolve queries within service levels
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor recurring issues or trends and propose process improvements
- Contribute to the development of enrolment systems, workflows and service standards
- Attend team meetings, training and system updates to stay aligned with changes
Data & Coordination
- Oversee and track account terminations
- Monitor debt acknowledgements, debit orders and refunds for accuracy
- Verify campaigns run by the Accounts team and capture overtime
- Collaborate with Credit Control and Enrolment teams with regular status updates
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Produce reports on volumes and productivity
- Identify trends or inefficiencies and contribute to improvements
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Matric (Essential)
Experience
- 0-1 year of relevant experience
