Purpose of Role
The Elementary Guide supports students aged 6–11 in their academic and character development within a Montessori framework. The role requires holding high expectations with warmth, sustaining a calm and purposeful classroom, and collaborating with a team to deliver project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Montessori Teaching & Curriculum
- DeliverMontessori Elementary instruction (AMI/AMS or equivalent preferred) or aligned approach.
- Guide literacy and maths curricula with project-based integration.
Student Growth & Classroom Culture
- Support academic and character growth for students aged 6–11.
- Maintain a calm, capable, and warm classroom environment with high expectations.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Work within a team-first, growth-oriented mindset.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum planning.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Montessori Elementary training (AMI/AMS or equivalent) preferred
Experience
- Experience teaching ages 6–11 (Montessori or aligned approach) preferred
Competencies
- Strong English language and communication skills
- Solid curriculum knowledge in literacy and maths with project-based integration
- Team-first mindset and growth-oriented attitude
