GRADE 00 TEACHER
(Fixed-Term Contract)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic and nurturing individuals who have a passion for early childhood education and who are committed to providing a warm, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.
The requirements for the position:
- An appropriate qualification in Early Childhood Development or Foundation Phase Education
- Registration with SACE
- Experience in teaching or assisting in a Grade 00 or pre-school environment
- Sound knowledge of early learning principles and play-based teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, creative and patient approach to teaching
- A willingness to contribute actively to the school’s extracurricular and aftercare programmes
- A willingness to work within the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Proof of sexual offender’s clearance certificate
