Lock in Tuesday, October 21, 2025 for your Gujarati SAL P1 matric exam, kicking off at 14:00
Aapni matric journey, bhai! It feels like just yesterday we were starting Grade 8, and now the big moment is almost here. For many of you, especially our wonderful Gujarati-speaking students, one of the most important papers coming up is your Gujarati SAL P1. It’s a day to show off all that hard work, all those lessons and all the `ghabran` (nervousness) you’ve been feeling will soon turn into `shaanti` (peace) once it’s done. But before that, let’s make sure you’re super prepared, `ekdam` ready for everything.
The date for your Gujarati SAL P1 2025 exam
So, `dhyaan rakho`, everyone! Mark this `tareekh` (date) very clearly in your minds and on your calendars. Your Gujarati SAL P1 matric exam for 2025 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2025. And the time? `Bapor na` (afternoon) at 14:00. This is not just any date; this is your date to shine. Remember, punctuality is `khub j mahatvapoorn` (very important).
Ghabraasho nahi, preparation is key
There’s still `ghana samay` (plenty of time) between now and October 2025, but `samay jaldi jay chhe` (time flies quickly), doesn’t it? So, `aaje thi j` (starting today), make a solid study plan. Don’t wait until the last minute, that just creates `tension`. Break down your Gujarati syllabus into manageable chunks. Practice reading `gujarati` stories, writing essays, understanding grammar rules, and vocabulary. The more you immerse yourself, the more `maza` (fun) it becomes, and the easier it gets. Try to set aside `roj` (daily) a little bit of time, even if it’s just 30 minutes, to revise. Consistency is your best friend here, `mitra`.
Important resources and your timetable
You know, `kaagaz` (paper) timetables can sometimes get lost, or `bhulai jaay` (forgotten). It’s always a good idea to have a digital copy, just in case. This master timetable from the Department of Basic Education is `aapna haath ma` (in your hands) for all your exams. Keep it safe, print it, `share karo` (share it) with your family so everyone knows when you’ll be busy studying or writing. It’s your official guide to the `matric yatra` (matric journey).

On the big day: What to take and how to behave
Alright, so `aaje` (today) is Tuesday, October 21, 2025, and it’s exam day! You should aim to arrive at the exam hall at least 30 to 45 minutes before 14:00. This gives you time to find your desk, settle down, take a deep breath, and calm any `darr` (fear). `Jaldi na karsho` (Don’t rush), that’s `nuksaan` (harmful). Here’s a list of `vastuo` (things) you absolutely must take with you:
- Your original identity document (ID) or birth certificate (no ID, no exam, `yaad rakhjo` (remember that)!).
- Your statement of entry from the Department of Education.
- Several black or blue pens (make sure they are working well, `bhola`!).
- A clear pencil case (no fancy designs please, `saadi` (simple) is best).
- A ruler (sometimes needed for neatness, even in language papers).
- A highlighter (for planning your essay, `sachot` (accurate) and helpful).
- A transparent water bottle with no labels (stay hydrated!).
- A small, `saadi` watch (not a smartwatch!) to keep track of time.
Once inside the exam hall, remember to be respectful and follow all instructions from the invigilators. No talking, no sharing anything, and absolutely no `cheating` (`nakal` in Gujarati) – it’s just not worth it. Focus on your paper, `baki badhu bhuli jaao` (forget everything else).
Reminders and staying calm
To make sure you don’t `bhuli jaao` the date, write it down on a big calendar, stick a note on your fridge, or set a reminder on your phone. The night before, `sarus ughjo` (sleep well). `Halka khaano khaavo` (Eat light food) and avoid anything that might upset your stomach. On the morning of the exam, eat a good breakfast. Your brain needs fuel to think `ghana` (a lot)! Most importantly, trust in your preparation. You’ve worked hard, and `parinaam` (results) will follow. `Shanti rakho` (Keep calm) and `shubhechha` (best wishes)!
All the best for your matric exams, especially your Gujarati SAL P1. `Tamaru bhavishya ujjval chhe` (Your future is bright)! `Jai Hind!` (Victory to India! Or in this context, good luck!).
