Kingsmead seeks to employ the following enthusiastic, innovative, and highly qualified teacher who is interested in contributing to a dynamic team and schooling environment:

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

• A suitable professional ECD qualification and proven track record as a highly skilled ECD teaching assistant.
• Proven experience working as a childcare teacher. ECD experience would be an advantage.
• In possession of a current criminal clearance, child protection register clearance, and sexual offenders register clearance certificate.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Have sound administrative and organizational skills.
• Have a significant level of computer literacy.
• In-depth understanding of childhood development.
• Developing appropriate socialization skills in children.
• Using various learning methods such as stories, crafts, sensory play, puzzles, and games to intellectually stimulate children.
• Providing a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Able to clean areas after children have worked there, clean classroom, storage areas, and in-door play areas.
• Be a team player, with well-developed interpersonal skills, work efficiently with management, staff, parents, and children.
• Be interested in community building and developing the social and emotional wellbeing of girls in the educational space.
• Have a high level of energy, must be enthusiastic, passionate and a contributor to the team.
• Be open to continuous learning and feedback.
• Be interested in contributing to a happy community of belonging and inclusion.
• Have the ability to engage fully with the ethos and spirit of Kingsmead.
