Purpose of Role

The Inside Facilities Maintenance Staff ensure the school building, gardens and grounds are well maintained and safe. They support daily operations, assist with setups and repairs, and help create a welcoming environment for scholars, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Safety

  • Maintain upkeep of the school building, gardens and grounds.
  • Report facilities maintenance issues to school leadership and assist with repairs where applicable.
  • Ensure the premises are safe for students, staff and parents.

Operations & Support

  • Assist with welcoming students during daily arrivals and dismissals, as required by school leadership.
  • Manage tools and equipment; report damaged or lost items for fixing or replacement.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks, such as moving furniture and setting up for events.

Communication & Development

  • Communicate professionally with school staff, parents and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in staff development opportunities and maintain professional conduct at SPARK School events.

Minimum Requirements

Education
